Our Philosophy
Mentor Mpact provides MBA application consulting for applications to all global B-schools.

Mentor Mpact is an initiative of alumni from the top global Business schools who recognize the importance of the MBA application process, having experienced it themselves. Our vision is to demystify the application process by assigning appropriate mentors who will partner you in preparing effective applications and provide personal insights into each school’s admissions dynamics.

Offering personalized services at every stage, we begin by brainstorming with you to understand your profile and goals post MBA and then design a customized plan to meet your individual requirements. Our aim is to guide you to put your best foot forward while writing compelling and engaging essays which will help you secure admission into a school of your choice. We understand that getting through a B-school is just the starting point and believe in also assisting you through the entire MBA journey.

Rashi Thakur FOUNDER

Rashi earned her MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB) and her undergraduate degree in Economics from Delhi University. She has worked closely with the ISB admissions committee in evaluating MBA applications and has a strong understanding of the B-school culture and what it takes to succeed.

After completing her graduation in Economics, Rashi worked with Capital IQ, division of Standard & Poor's. Writing Business Intelligence reports for clients, Rashi developed a strong background in effective communication and writing, a skill that helps her mould compelling MBA applications for her clients applying to top MBA schools.
Her interest in the area of education and counselling dates back to her undergraduate years when as part of the NGO experience with The Society for Working Life, she was involved in teaching and counselling slum children in South-West Delhi. During her MBA, Rashi conceptualized a business plan for setting up a comprehensive career development services venture for high school students which was graded among the best B-plans in the school.

Setting base for Mentor Mpact, Rashi started helping candidates get admissions in premier B-schools even before she joined ISB. Since founding Mentor Mpact, she has provided admissions consulting services to hundreds of successful applicants from across the globe.

A result oriented professional, Rashi uses her extensive knowledge and experience of MBA applications to guide students in their admission process on a one-on-one basis.
Our Mentors
Ankita Singhania
National University of Singapore

Ankita Singhania is an entrepreneur who translated her passion for travelling into a business idea soon after completing her MBA. She is a graduate from National University of Singapore (NUS) and completed part of the program from University of Northern California as an exchange student. She has also done an MS (Finance) from ICFAI University and is presently a CFA Level III candidate. Prior to doing an MBA, she worked with SMC Group as a Research Analyst.
Gaurav Dubey
Harvard Business School

Gaurav Dubey is an MBA from the Harvard Business School, Class of 2010. He currently works in the Energy sector as General Manager, Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions. Prior to his MBA, he did his under-graduation from IIT Kanpur and worked for a period of 4 years with ITC Limited. He is passionate about interacting with students and guiding them to choose right career choice and helping them with same. 
Harsh Vardhan Passari
Indian School of Business

Harsh Passari pursued an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB) where he was awarded with Merit List certificate for academic distinction. Harsh majored in Finance & Strategy. Later he worked as a business head of a SME Consulting start up and was also involved with incubating new ventures for a boutique conglomerate. He also worked as a Senior Consultant with PwC for a short stint before jumping on the entrepreneur bandwagon wherein he is working on a project to help Chinese manufacturers sell their products to Indian buyers. Before MBA, Harsh had three years of experience in Corporate Finance consulting. As part of a team, he advised fortune 500 companies, including Healthcare players, on long term strategies for value creation. Harsh was handpicked by the McKinsey Partner at the New York office to play the dual role of a Consultant and of a Knowledge Manager.
Kirtika Singh
Indian School of Business

Kirtika Singh has an MBA from the Indian School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Economics Honors from Punjab University. She has 11 years of experience spanning corporate financial services and development with focus on livelihood security. Before her MBA, Kirtika worked for 8 years in the BFSI sector. She has international work experience in US and Europe and has worked on assignments in over 12 countries. Her passion for art, craft and development led her to work in the social space aimed at promoting livelihood opportunities for craftsmen, post her MBA. She is currently the Executive Director at AIACA (All India Artisans and Craftworkers Welfare Association). Kirtika is an avid sports enthusiast, music, art, and design lover.
Nitika Tandon
Rotterdam School of Management

Nitika Tandon is an MBA graduate from Rotterdam School of Management, Netherlands. Prior to her MBA she gained three years of working experience in market research with Standard & Poor’s Capital IQ. During the course of her MBA she worked as a marketing consultant with Sewa Beats, a Switzerland based company where she successfully formulated a product launch and a market expansion strategy for the company. She has also worked for an expansion strategy project for Infosys, specifically for the German and the French market. She currently works as a Consultant at Wikimedia Foundation. In her free time, Nitika coaches Latin dances to children and relatives of ambassadors and diplomats from various countries at New Delhi. Her interest and remarkable flair for writing has helped many at Mentor Mpact.
Sarang Malik
Indian School of Business

Sarang Malik has done his Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management with double honors (Deans List and Merit List) from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad (ISB) and has served the admissions committee, responsible for reviewing applications at the school. Sarang has a total of seven years of work experience and is currently working with the transactions advisory group at KPMG. Prior to that, he has worked in the US and Australia and in his previous avatar was a Business Analyst with Tata Consultancy Services. His passion and dedication to mentor students has helped many Mentor Mpact clients with successful applications and interviews. Besides work, Sarang is a keen soccer player and has played for a division3 club in Sydney. He has also played cricket at the zonal level during his high school days.
Shradha Kapur
HEC, Paris

Shradha Kapur is presently working in the field of Sustainability Consulting at cKinetics. Before that she worked at BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking, in the position of a Project Manager/Coordinator. Shradha joined BNP Paribas in January 2009, and managed different projects in BNP Paribas Private Equity (Antin Infrastructure Partners) and BNP Paribas CIB (Financial Control) in Paris. Before MBA, Shradha worked at Capital IQ, a division of Standard and Poor's, as a Research Associate from June 2005- August 2007. Shradha has done her MBA from HEC, Paris. Her personal interests include reading and travelling.
Archit Garg
Said Business School (Oxford)

Archit Garg graduated from the highly ranked MBA program from University of Oxford – Said Business School in 2007. Post his MBA, he worked with Deutsche Bank for a period of 2 years based out of the London office. He is now working in Rabo Private Equity – the captive private equity arm of the Rabobank Group. Archit also gained a certification in Excellence, finance, management from Columbia Business School.
Ankit Bisht

Ankit Bisht was admitted to several top business schools and received his MBA from INSEAD in 2009. After graduating from INSEAD, Ankit moved to London, where he currently works as a Consultant with McKinsey & Company. He has completed his under-graduation in Computer Science from Michigan State University, after which he worked with Borders Group in a Technology role for over 3 years.
Surabhi Chaturvedi
Columbia University

Surabhi has done her under graduation in Mathematics from St.Stephen's college (Delhi University). She has 5 years of experience in the development sector and in the finance industry. Surabhi worked in the Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young as an analyst and later worked with the Clinton Foundation in their health access initiative. Surabhi is currently pursuing her MPA from Columbia University (SIPA).
Abhinav Mittal
McCombs School of Business

Abhinav Mittal is an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin- McCombs School of Business. He has done his specialization in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining school, Abhinav was working as an IT Consultant with TATA Consultancy Services for their client- GE Capital Solutions. He is currently working as a Business Strategy Consultant with HP Enterprise Services. Before that he interned with Advanced Micro Devices with their Supply Chain division and also worked as a consultant for small businesses in Texas. Abhinav is certified in Six Sigma- Green belt, ITIL v3 and loves photography, blogging, reading and fishing. He has worked across three continents, visited over 20 countries and plans to visit many more before he hangs up his boots.
Lorenzo de la Mora
IESE, Spain

Lorenzo de la Mora is an MBA from IESE Business School. He has been working as a Consultant for over 3 years at Globalpraxis. Before doing an MBA, he worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a commercial lawyer advising corporate multinationals in M&A transactions. His hobbies include reading, traveling and sports.
Parul Bansal
Tepper (Carnegie Mellon University)

Parul Bansal is an MBA from the Tepper School of Business – Carnegie Mellon University. At B-school she was actively working with the admissions committee in guiding prospective students with their queries. She is currently working as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, based out of Los Angeles. Prior to joining Tepper; Parul worked in the IT industry for over 3 years.
Shekhar Banka
National University of Singapore

Shekhar Banka earned his MBA in finance from National University of Singapore (NUS) and his B.Tech from IIT Mumbai. He spent the early part of his career working in IT Consulting/Business Development for about 4 years. He is currently working in Investment Banking at Daiwa Capital Markets. His passions are tennis, cricket and finance.
Shweta Jain

Shweta Jain is an MBA with specialization in Business with Finance from Babson College. She was a Babson and Olin scholarship awardee. Besides Babson, Shweta had admits from Katz Business School and ESADE. She is currently working at The Chesapeake Group, an investment and merchant banking firm, as an Analyst. She has a total professional experience of close to 6 years in the field of investment banking and financial/business research.
Walter Chang
Rotman (University of Toronto)

Walter Chang is an MBA in finance and IT strategy from Rotman School of Management, Class of 2010. With a passion for IT consulting and years of industry experience in both business process analytics and web technology, Walter has become a valued expert in identifying business process inefficiencies and designing solutions to improve his client's overall business process. He currently works as a Senior Consultant at Accenture.
Himanshu Drolia
Asian Institute of Management, Manila

Himanshu Drolia is an MBA graduate from Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines and is currently working at Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC Bank), Singapore as a Management Associate. After completing his engineering in Information Science, he joined IBM India as a Software Engineer. During his MBA, he did internships with global companies like GE Security, USA (Strategy Consulting) and Price Water house Coopers, India (Consulting Division) and consistently exceeded client expectations. He is a recipient of WSGSB Scholarship award which is awarded to the top 5 students of a batch. Additionally, Himanshu is also a distinguished alumnus of Kenan- Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina, USA. His hobbies include graphology, scuba diving, dancing (salsa), watching movies & playing sports such as cricket & tennis.
